The slope of the line below is -2. Which of the following is the point-slope form of the line? http://media.apexlearning.com/Images/200707/01/7abea90f-0ce5-443b-8ad5-ff95696d21fc.gif y - 4 = -2(x + 8) B. y + 8 = -2(x - 4) C. y - 8 = -2(x + 4) D. y + 4 = -2(x - 8)

OpenStudy (will.h):

the point is (4,-8) and the slope is -2 therefor all we need to do is use the form y - y1 = m(x - x1) where m is the slope y - (-8) = -2(x - 4) y + 8 = -2(x - 4) make sense?

OpenStudy (jordans_openstudy):

ohhh okay i think i get it now, i been stuck on this lol. I appreciate it

OpenStudy (will.h):

tag me if you need additional help. you welcome

OpenStudy (jordans_openstudy):
