Maybe then you shouldn't talk about it in your pitch. Remember you are trying to persuade them to adapt it as a movie. Saying bad things won't really help :/ . You need to talk mainly about the good things about the book

In terms of the structure, I would start the pitch as following..
"I would like to present to you my idea about adapting my story "The Metamorphosis" as a full feature film. I believe it has the story to impress viewers of different ages and provides for a compelling story" ...something like that
