Algebra 13 Online
OpenStudy (tinten):

Define g(x)=4x^2. There are infinitely many scale changes that will map the parent function f(x)=x^2 to this child function. Using a parameter, find the set of all such scale change mappings.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

g(x) = 4 f(x) but I do not know about the scale change mappings

OpenStudy (triciaal):

maybe it means 1/4 on the units so it will fit same

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you can use https://www.desmos.com/calculator to see the graphs

OpenStudy (tinten):

Thank you. I will try.

OpenStudy (sshayer):

g(x)=f(2x)=(2x)^2

OpenStudy (loser66):
