There is a least common multiple for these two numbers. A common multiple is a number that is a multiple of two or more numbers. The common multiples of 3 and 4 are 0, 12, 24, .... The least common multiple (LCM) of two numbers is the smallest number (not zero) that is a multiple of both.(www.math.com/school/subject1/lessons/S1U3L3GL.html) Knowing this information what do you think it is?

@emilee02 There is always a lowest multiple the lowest multiple of the 2 numbers the first number *1, *2, *3,*4 etc the second number find the multiples, *1. *2, *3, *4, *5 etc compare the 2 sets of multiples and see which is the first number the same in the 2 groups
