Sketching tangent lines
If I may help?
Yeah I have no idea what I'm doing
Ok Step by step.
So is (-2,-8) my first point?
I see that the questions are answered, is that you who answered them?
Yes
So how did you do that and "Yeah I have no idea what I'm doing"?? weird!
By the way, all the answers are correct!
I understood that part but I don't understand how to do the tangent lines.

Tangent line means that first derivative of the function you have. Do you mean you don't know how to draw it?

hey @3mar i didn't notice you were here
I'm not sure how to draw them
Well, I am here.
It is simple and easy!
I know it's only supposed to touch the parabola once but I don't know how to find the second point to (-2,-8). I'm just really confused.
It is not (-2,-8) no not at all It tells you that THE SLOPE OF THE TANGENT LINE IS JUST -8 AT X=-2 \[\huge m_{@x=-2}=-8\]
|dw:1478365216498:dw| Did you get it?
