trump or clinton? Why?
C to make a piece of world history, wingspan a snook at hubby and Herr Trumpf, and possibly end up in court on "email charges". Sort of completes the farce, really. This is a NAIVE/DAFT(?) set or reasons, but i won't be voting.
Uh...please post questions relating to school, thanks!~ As for your reply, Osprey, please refrain from using filtered language, and election ideals are purely opinion-based...
As for your reply, Osprey, please refrain from using filtered language, and election ideals are purely opinion-based... I don't know what filtered language is. I tried to make the point that it was my opinion and that probably naive, and also irrelevant. I also tried to make the Historical point that C would make certainly one outstanding piece of history. A second would be "protocol" in relation the addressing of other parties involved. Also, there would be at least three female heads of state in the world - Germany, UK, US - of major world powers. Isn't that History ? @IrishBoy123
@IrishBoy123 wingspan a snook I think the original post has been edited ?

There is something else that's been grumbling on in the C vs T contest. And that is T's tax returns, the unpublishing thereof. C seems to have published something in this respect, but T and quite a few others have been attacking C on the "emails gate". T seems to have said "I won't publish my tax returns until you (C) publish your emails" or something to that effect. Seems that T's lawyers have advised against publishing. The question rumbling around in this fog of confusion SEEMS to be "has T been paying taxes, and if there's a query then address it" Meanwhile C is being hammered over the emails issue. Since Pres Nixon's time, putting the word "gate" at the end of something seems to have become "good popular journalist speak". And, since N's time, there's been a big growth of hidden cameras/recorders and "investigative journalists" - T got caught over "locker room banter" (and on tv in an exchange with a TV journalist.) Which leaves the bemused watcher wondering that if there IS an "emailsgate" thing waiting somewhere, then maybe there's a "locker room banter gate" or a "tax return gate" somewhere in the mayhem also. Secretary Kerry has made some comments about his experiences of meeting overseas people in relation to the outside world's view of what's going on. What's GONE on ? Tuesday will start to maybe tell.
first F*ck Trump
Clinton is better
i would rather not vote for anyone, the governments are not getting any better and economy is a mess.... now we see more crime, more famine and more disasters, and our presidents don't want to help other leaders, countries from other parts of the world to help us to unite as one.....the government only cares about itself and not about hats better for everyone...there is not going to be any change anytime soon....

@yese30 I've long thought that ballot papers ought to, by law, have a standard box on them which is labelled "non of the above", and that that box should be counted. It's the nearest thing I can think of of somehow organising a "voters strike" with the intention of showing the degree (be it high or low) of the voters' dissatisfaction with the "leaders". I'd guess that the politicians would probably run scared of the idea. After all, look (if you can be bothered) at the mayhem in UK after the in/out EU referendum victory by about 2 million votes to leave. HMG had no contingency plans - it assumed that the ref would go the remain way. Some argue that part of the mayhem has been caused by the politicians being "out of touch" with the electorate (or at least with about 16 million of them). You make a good point, and I wish that there were a way that your frustration could be counted as a VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE. Yup I know it's pie in the sky (I don't know what that actually means but I often use words I don't know the meaning of - like a lot of other people, maybe).
Just read summaries of the farce in US. T is "shepherded" off stage by security in response to a false alarm. The person who was "taken care of" or however it would be put says that there was no gun involved. So, it was a spectacular false alarm. Question in my mind is was it a publicity stunt, with the person involved be some sort of stooge, or was it a nervous reaction to a gun in the crowd, or what was it. C seems to have been "cleared" by the FBI, nicely timed so that the damage has been done, and T has another chance to shout "foul" 'cos he, basically, didn't get his own way ? If C "wins" then T has said he won't accept the result and will say "rigged", again. Well, if he doesn't win/get his own way it seems that he usually cries foul. The highlight of T's apprentice show, for me, was the fighting he manipulated and organised among the "contestants" (none of whom had ACTUALLY been HIRED, so they COULDN'T BE FIRED). The last one to avoid the bruising scratching stuff "your hired". And a few 100 thousand better off per year should you last that long. Mind you T may be saying implicitly, I own T tower, quite a lot of Scotland, and I'm worth a few billion. And, I'm bluff enough to not declare my tax returns. So, after tuesday, what chances of the mexican wall being built ? - that's building which is property which is T's territory ... ?
