OpenStudy (jon123):

The force of attraction between m1 and m2 is 26N. What will this force become if m2 is tripled and the distance between it and m1 is halved?

OpenStudy (osprey):

m1xm2/r squared = 26N. >m1x(3xm2)/(r/2)^2 >3x(m1xm2)/[(r^2)/4] >12x(m1xm2)/[(r^2)] = 12x26N which is a tad bigger than 260N. I HOPE http://perendis.webs.com
