OpenStudy (doitlikemari):

Was it wise to seek a return to normalcy after world war 1?

OpenStudy (osprey):

i don't know what "normalcy" means, but I'm sort of aware that europe was pretty much devastated by the bloody battle of attrition that was ww1. UK's poppy remembrance anniversary is now, which helps indicate the major trauma caused by ww1. To get NORMALITY out of that would be a major challenge to peace keepers. It is possible that Herr Schickelgruber/ Herr Hitler used the chaos to regenerate Germany and start his "conquest of europe/russia/UK/the world (?)". History seems to show that he failed.
