`Complementary angles` are angles that make up 90 degrees. \(\huge\bf{(x+1)+(x-9)=90}\)

OpenStudy (21lacfuq):

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Simplify. First combine like terms. \(\huge\bf{2x-8=90}\) Next, you would add 8 to each side. \(\huge\bf{2x=98}\) Now divide by 2. \(\huge\bf{frac{2x}{2}=\frac{98}{2}}\)

563blackghost (563blackghost):

\(\huge\bf{\frac{2x}{2}=\frac{98}{2}}\) *

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

x=49

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Angles are 50 and 40

563blackghost (563blackghost):
