OpenStudy (sssasas):

Can someone check my answers. There is a screen shot link below.

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Where are they?

OpenStudy (sssasas):

hold on here filesystem:chrome-extension://fdpohaocaechififmbbbbbknoalclacl/temporary/screencapture-usatestprep-modules-test-tq-php-1478547381791.png

OpenStudy (sssasas):

actually no, that why i have the screen shot.

OpenStudy (sssasas):

@AloneS

alones (alones):

Yes?

OpenStudy (sssasas):

Copy the link I have, i need u to check the questions

OpenStudy (sssasas):

@agent0smith

alones (alones):

Agent left this site..no need to tag him /:

alones (alones):

I also don't use chrome, im use mozzila ;3

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ok i should be able to move it to mozilla hold on

OpenStudy (sssasas):

here this shoud work, you can change it this way, https://www.usatestprep.com/modules/test/tq.php?testid=30&load_test=1#test

alones (alones):

ugh it asks me to log in LOL

OpenStudy (sssasas):

i dont have anyother way.

OpenStudy (sssasas):

@Miracrown

OpenStudy (sssasas):

@mndean

OpenStudy (mndean):

it asks me to log in :|

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

do a command+shift+3 on mac then upload it

OpenStudy (sssasas):

use the first one its a screenshot filesystem:chrome-extension://fdpohaocaechififmbbbbbknoalclacl/temporary/screencapture-usatestprep-modules-test-tq-php-1478547381791.png

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

I cant get it to work, i am on chrome

OpenStudy (mndean):

still won't work sorry

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

you can attach files to the message, so just make a screenshot so that the results saves on your computer, thats pressing command and shift and 3 at the same time if your on mac.

alones (alones):

hrmm dowload it here http://prnt.sc/ and than paste it

OpenStudy (mndean):

I'm really confused

OpenStudy (sssasas):

how long does it take for this to process AloneS?

alones (alones):

Depends on the image

OpenStudy (sssasas):

U may need to zoom in

alones (alones):

Lmao what is this? x'D

OpenStudy (sssasas):

Its a Redemption test, i need toget a good grade on it to replace another

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

ok, that better

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

but what exactly do you need help

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

We cannot help you do the exam, thats cheating

OpenStudy (sssasas):

Nooo ive done it, i just need u guys to see if there right. Not an exam

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

so you choose c on the first one, why do you think so?

OpenStudy (sssasas):

That one I kinda guessed on

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

Ok, the guy thinks his fish grows bigger if he give them more music

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

so he went to do an experiemnt and controlled the other variables, which is good. But the result shows no clear trend, it fluctuates a lot, so whats the conclusion here

OpenStudy (sssasas):

I was reading over it again, so would it be B instead of C?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

great,

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

your 2 is correct

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

3 has a problem, because you misunderstood the question, so go make a another choice

OpenStudy (sssasas):

for 3? my second choice would have been B

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

thats still not right, so lets take a look

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

what do you think the question is asking you

OpenStudy (sssasas):

The difference between the two? that wat i think

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

in fact, its asking about the wrong difference

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

so whats one of the choices that des not describe the difference correctly

OpenStudy (sssasas):

D?

OpenStudy (sssasas):

that might be wrong, im bad with this stuff

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

why woundt ou choose C

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

ok, what is the thing that you are not understanding?

OpenStudy (sssasas):

what is Uracil and Thymine?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

DNA has 3 components called base, sugar and phosphate

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

there are 4 types of bases in DNA called A,T,C,G, whcih stands for adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine respectively

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

there are also 4 types of bases in RNA, they are called A,U,C,G, with the only difference U being Uracil

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

the sugar in DNA is called deoxyribose, and in RNA its called ribose

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

go look at any intro to biology textbook and the chapter contains this information should be named something like molecular biology or molecular genetics

OpenStudy (sssasas):

I think i what u said, is it C. i dont have a book for biology this year.

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

http://libgen.io/ads.php?md5=C9738211AD41D53A32FD59D6B9920EC8 go here and hit download, if I am right about you being at high school and not doing competition like IBO, this should be enough for you

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ok its downloading

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

now 4 is correct, 5 is weird, not the answer, the question

OpenStudy (sssasas):

wat about 3?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

to me all 4 seems reasonable, maybe becuase I am doing molecular and cell biology so I dont care about nuitrition

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

C is the correct answer for 3

OpenStudy (sssasas):

yah 5 is weird but i had that question before and it was Bread, so i went with that.

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

ok, thats fine, just saying I couldnt understand it

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

6 7 8is right

OpenStudy (sssasas):

and i really appreciate u helping me:)

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

NP, thats exactly why I came here in the first place

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

9 is wrong, so make a second guess

OpenStudy (sssasas):

sorry i had read that one wrong but would it be D?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

that coreect

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

nothings wrong up to 15, checking the rest now

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ok great

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

17 seems wrong to me. Check to see which molecule is hydrophobic, if youve heard this word in your class

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ok, it doesnt sound familiar, but ill check

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ok so 17 is wrong, a Hyrdophobic molecule is one that cannot mix or combine with water. Sugar is a Carbohydrate which can mix with water.

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

correct, so which one cant

OpenStudy (sssasas):

would it be Protiens or Lipids?

OpenStudy (sssasas):

oh wait i think its protein

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

proteins are more soluble than lipids, for reasons you'll learn soon, or in college if they dont teach you in high school

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

in short, It has to do with components of protein versus lipid and how they interact with water

OpenStudy (sssasas):

Soo its protein?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

no its lipid, becuase lipid is less soluble than protein, in general

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ohh ok ill have to read up more on the Lipids then

OpenStudy (sssasas):

did u check 16?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

19 is wrong, everything before is correct

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

16 is correct

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

It may be helpful to compare 10 with 19

OpenStudy (sssasas):

Ok for 19 im gonna go with C

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

great, we are almost done now. Yay

OpenStudy (sssasas):

ok, yay ive been do work since this morning this is the last thing... so happy

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

for 21, im struggling between A and D

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

I still have to read 2 papers and 3 chapters of my textbook , watch 3 lectures. my heart just died alittle

OpenStudy (sssasas):

i had the same problem with that one

OpenStudy (sssasas):

r u in college or something?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

Im a junior of biochem major at brandeis
