Can you check my answer? Explain how to rewrite a rational power as a radical term.

OpenStudy (cp123):

Is a rational power the same as a rational exponent? because i was thinking you take the rational exponent and u concert it into a radical expression. like you take the denominator and put it in the index. then you take the base and put it as the radicand. then you put the numerator as the exponent to the base. right?

OpenStudy (cp123):

or is a rational power and a radical power different to a rational exponent and a radical expression?

OpenStudy (radar):

\[8^{1/3}=\sqrt[3]{8}\]|dw:1478553492301:dw|
