OpenStudy (itsbribro):

The slope of EF is - 3/2. Which segments are perpendicular to EF? LM, where L is at (1,8) and M is at (3,11). Slope is 3/2 NP, where N is at (0,-3) and P is at (2,-6). Slope is 3/2 JK, where J is at (14,-1) and K is at (5,-7). Slope is 2/3 GH, where G is at (1,7) and H is at (4,9). Slope is 2/3

OpenStudy (steve816):

Remember that the slope of a perpendicular line is the opposite reciprocal. For example, the opposite reciprocal of -3/2 would be 2/3

OpenStudy (itsbribro):

oh okay! and can I ask you "would the opposite reciprocal of -3 would be 3?"

OpenStudy (itsbribro):

so the answer to this would be C and D

OpenStudy (itsbribro):

yyayyy

OpenStudy (itsbribro):

yayy :) thank you both

OpenStudy (steve816):
