Are you trying to find the angle measurement of angle 2?

Okay, so the lines are perpendicular to each other meaning that because that vertical line splits them both at the same angle, it will create the same angle measurements. Angle 2 and the 38-degree angle are essentially the same because they are corresponding. Does that make sense?
So your answer would be 38-degrees.

How about for measure 1?
So a straight line is 180-degrees so subtract 38 from 180 and that will give you the angle of angle 1
so 142?
