@Will.H
these formed triangles are right triangles ,yes ? hope you know formula for area of a triangle with these is solved your exercise bc. the lateral side will be the height of triangle and you know that the lateral sides of a rectangle are congruent do you understand it ?
and yes sure these opposite parallel longer sides of a rectangle are the same congruent too
yes there right triangles... everything else sounds like some alien demonic talk lol
so these formed triangles has congruent base and congruent height so from these result areas equals - yes ?
Area = 0.5 * b * h We need to.find the length of the base and the height. Base = sqrt (Y2-Y1)^2 + (X2-X1)^2 (0,b) (0,0) Base = sqrt (0-b)^2 + (0-0)^2 Base = sqrt -b^2 Base = sqrt b^2 Height (0,b) (a,b) Height = sqrt (Y2-Y1)^2 + (X2-X1)^2 Height = sqrt(b - b)^2 + (a -0)^2 Height = sqrt a^2 Now substitute Area = 0.5 * sqrt b^2 * sqrt a^2 How are you supposed to get a value for that??
yes area is equal
will is that for me?
Lol yeah
Oh they said enter an expression. So mine is right
it looks wierd lol... what do i put as anwser lol
Area is 0.5 * Sqrt(b)^2 * sqrt(a)^2
You don't have to put the parentheses
And instead of 0.5 it can also.be 1/2
Andrew do u agree
but why you dont squarrooted these a^2 and b^2 and so will result (ab)/2 for area of a triangle yes ?
See that's the problem it can be formed in many ways. I don't know which one they want
so this is the anwser?
and this (ab9/2 will result for area of every two triangles
sorry (ab)/2 wan being there
will yes ?
It can also work that way Yeah. And you can remove.the parentheses. Have it any way u like Devon. BTW jhony in.ur form.what would be the full expression
Andrew?
jhonny write what you think the anwser is
He left
ill just use yours
Øk
ok 1 question left
