Help please! :)

OpenStudy (underreconstruction):

A function is graphed on the coordinate plane. What is the value of the function when x = −4? -4 0 4 5

OpenStudy (underreconstruction):

I think the answer is D. 5

OpenStudy (blazeryder):

Not quite. Alright, so look at the graph a little bit more. Look where x=-4. After that look where the line is at where x=-4.

OpenStudy (steve816):

Just trace your hand to where x = -4, and go directly up to get the value of the function.

OpenStudy (underreconstruction):

Really confused... Um 0?

OpenStudy (blazeryder):

So look at point (0,0) then count to the left 4 units. This point would be (-4,0) Now from (-4,0) count up 4 to the line. This 4 would be the key to your answer.

OpenStudy (underreconstruction):

C. 4...? (Sorry if I'm not being smart atm, I'm actually really confused with this.)
