how do you find the distance of 3 points?

you can only find the distance between 2 points if you have 3 points, then you can find 3 different distances
well it gives you 3 coordinates
does it look something like (x,y,z)?
or 3 individual (x,y)
the formula is d=(x2-x1)+(y2-y1) square rooted

yes, thats the distance formula, d- distance (x1,y1) is the coordinate point for point 1 (x2,y2) is the coordinate point for point 2
well then how do you find it for a triangle?
you would have to do it 3 different times in order to determine the distances of the 3 different sides
