For the function y = f(x), what is the ordered pair for the point on the graph when x = 2m + 3? (3 points) (x, f(m)) (x, 2m + 3) (2m + 3, f(m)) (2m + 3, f(2m + 3)),

OpenStudy (itrymath):

@steve816

OpenStudy (itrymath):

can you help

OpenStudy (steve816):

It would be (2m + 3, f(2m + 3)),

OpenStudy (itrymath):

i think answer is A

OpenStudy (itrymath):

@563blackghost

OpenStudy (itrymath):

is steve correct because i think A looks like the answer

OpenStudy (steve816):

@steve816 is correct!!!!!!

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Since `x=2m+3` that would mean we already know our x-input. To find y we use the equation `y = f(x)` in which we plug in x and get `y = f(2m+3)` Due to no knowledge of what m or f equals we leave it at that so our answer is `(2m+3, f(2m+3)`

OpenStudy (itrymath):

not sure who to give medal too

OpenStudy (steve816):

Give it to @563blackghost ,he gave a better explanation!

563blackghost (563blackghost):
