OpenStudy (punderson):

If y = v - 0.5gt2, which equation is solved for t? (3 points)

OpenStudy (punderson):

OpenStudy (punderson):

@emilee02

OpenStudy (emilee02):

oml idk

OpenStudy (518nad):

have you tried anything

OpenStudy (punderson):

yes ive tried

OpenStudy (punderson):

i suck at math

OpenStudy (518nad):

dont worry its pretty simple u can do it

OpenStudy (punderson):

Which one is it?

OpenStudy (518nad):

i am not going to just give you the answer like this, this site is for learning

OpenStudy (punderson):

then show me how to do it

OpenStudy (518nad):

okay so since the 2 sides of the equal sign are equal, we can do the same thing to both sides and it will remain equal y=v-0.5gt^2 start by subtracing v from both sides what happens? y-v=v-v-0.5gt^2 y-v=0-0.5gt^2 y-v=0.5gt^2 look we are closer to having only t on one side now, what do you think you can try doing to both sides to make more progress?

OpenStudy (punderson):

ok i get it now!

OpenStudy (punderson):

i messed up on my work the first time

OpenStudy (518nad):

okay good :)

OpenStudy (punderson):

Thank you

OpenStudy (518nad):

sure thing
