Question inside!

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

Generally, when drawing a line of best fit, you should choose the first and the last coordinate from the graph.

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

So (6,1) and (1,16)

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

Yes, that would be correct.

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

My pleasure!

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

Can I get you to check one thing?

OpenStudy (amorfide):

I swear the answer is (2,15), (4,9) The line of best fit is drawn so that the points are evenly distributed on either side of the line so you want to find a way to have an even amount on both sides of the line, so the points I mentioned would leave with 3 on each side why is this not correct harman?

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

Oh, I didn't consider that! I basically said what I had been taught at school but your response makes so much sense. I apologies @Miss.Rose. I suggest going with amorfide's answer. Sorry about this again.

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

Thanks @amorfide !

OpenStudy (amorfide):

I am not trying to fault you, I am just generally interested why yours would be correct, if it is

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

After reading your answer, I definitely think its correct. I should have researched a little before answering. I appreciate you correcting me on this. Thanks!

OpenStudy (amorfide):
