Hello, you should realized the object is smaller than the other. So, the answer will be proportional to the other.
The only numbers we can compare is 8 and 6. Which is 6/8 or 3/4 of the original.

The only logical answer is 4.5.
It has to be less than 6.

Okay here: 8 to 6. 6 to y. 6/8 = 3/4. So 3/4 of 6 equals 6*.75 which equals 4.5
