What is y when x=-3 in the first equation? What is y when x=-3 in the second equation? If they are equal, there aren't any discontinuities, yet.
OpenStudy (aveline):
Do the same with the second and third equations, but make x=3. In the third and fourth equations, make x=5

The first and second equation are equal

As well as the second and third...what about the last two?
