2.5/1?

OpenStudy (sooobored):

let me ask this question, in this geometric sequence, what value is the number increasing by for each term

OpenStudy (jskhupmang):

from what i see, the top is getting lower by diving 2 and the bottom is getting lower by diving 3

OpenStudy (jskhupmang):

i forgot sequence, it was a longtime ago, get help from @sooobored :)

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

2.5/1=2.5 Sorry i'm rlly tired

OpenStudy (sooobored):

the denominator is decreasing by factors of 3 the numerator is decreasing by factors of 2 that means you are multiplying by 3/2 to each term to get the next 3/2*5=?

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

7.5?

OpenStudy (sooobored):

15/2 = 7.5 yes

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

So is 7.5 or is 15 my answer?

OpenStudy (sooobored):

(15/2) is the same as 7.5
