OpenStudy (fluttershyk):

Identify the sequence of transformations that maps quadrilateral ABCD onto quadrilateral A"B"C"D. A. 180 degrees rotation around the origin; reflection over the x-axis B. Translation (x, y)--> (x-2,y+0); reflection over the line x=-1 C. Enlargement; reflection over the y-axis D. Reflection over the x-axis; reduction

OpenStudy (fluttershyk):

@Will.H

OpenStudy (fluttershyk):

I think its D

OpenStudy (will.h):

Let's take point B(2,4) And see how to get it to B' 1st it's clear that it's reflected across the y axis So it's clearly C Because A would Map it to (-2,4) Which is not correct B would map it to something totally irrelevant D would map it downwards due to the reflection across x axis which makes no sense Which leaves us no choice but C

OpenStudy (will.h):

Also to support the claim of C there is clearly an enlargement from the figure ABCD to A'B'C'D'

OpenStudy (will.h):

Make sense?

OpenStudy (fluttershyk):

Yes thank you @Will.H *medals for you*

OpenStudy (will.h):

Thanks for medal *smug face* lol
