Isn't it 500 miles/26 miles gives you about 19.23 miles. Multiply 19.23 by $2.50 to get about $48.08 for the trip. Then 3*110=$330 for lodging For food $25*2=$50*3 days=$150 Add 48.08+330+150=$528.08 I believe :)
The total cost for food would be $150 and the total cost for lodging is $330, so add those together and you get $480. I'm not sure about the gas though so I'd go with @maryjmatha's answer
