I despair of the way these questions are set. Whilst the maths of this question are valid it truly gives NO sense of reality about numbers (and hence maybe to the application of matyhs to real world situations) 10^16 is 10 thousand million million 'candy bars' For comparison There are about 100 million million stars in our galaxy - so we have 100 candies for each star. If each bar has a mass of 20 g then we have 2 hundred million million kg of 'candy bars' (200 thousand million tonnes) For comparison The total world production of steel is approx 150 million tonnes per year Some candy store
