in 5y = 3x - 5 if you divide both sides (that means *all* terms) by 5 you get \[ y = \frac{3}{5}x - 1 \] the slope is 3/5 which means the line goes up as you move from left to right (if you move 5 steps to the right, it moves 3 up can you figure out the answer?
