Here are some tips you may use.
1. Choose an interesting "what if." For example, what if you were trapped in a movie
theater?
2. Think about all the scary things that could happen in that situation. Then think about all
the ways a person could get out of that terrifying situation.
3. Who is the main character? Is it you or a fictional person?
4. Choose a scary setting. Decide where and when your story takes place.
5. How did the main character end up in the scary situation?
6. Choose a bad guy or villain. Describe this character and how he or she will provoke fear
in the story.
7. Complete THE 5 WS OF SCARY STORY WRITING handout.
8. Develop the plot:
• What will happen?
• What problems will the main character have to face?
• How will the problems be resolved?
• What other characters might be involved?
• What is the danger?
9. Make up a surprise ending. Good stories shock you!

I did a story about how some girl met a guy online, and the guy soon became her stalker. use things that would make your skin crawl. Add suspense and stuff to make YOURSELF feel scared while your writing. For example, say things like: He tied me up in a chair in the dark, spooky room. The light so dim, his face under the hoodie was not visible. I wanted to scream, but the duct tape on my mouth only left out muffles. He approached me slowly, every footstep he had made, my life potentially ending.
Maybe write about your own fear, like let's say you had a fear of spiders, write about how your main character was drowned in a tub of spiders because she was haunted by a type of spirit that makes every fear come true. And maybe it's the spirit's way of revenge since something may have happened to it? i don't know. Make it creative! If you need anymore help, just ask me.
