@jackthegreatest
OpenStudy (will.h):
1- Graph it using Desmos.com
2- use the Distance formula to find the length of the sides base and height.
3- use the rule of the area of triangle
A = 0.5 * b * h
Where b is the base and h is height
OpenStudy (brucebaner):
k thx
OpenStudy (will.h):
Tag me if u need additional help w that

@Will.H im kinda lost
OpenStudy (will.h):
Alright. Let's do it together.
Which side represents the base?
OpenStudy (brucebaner):
im still lost?
OpenStudy (will.h):
The base is the bottom side of the triangle which is BC
OpenStudy (will.h):
Use distance formula to find the length of that side

I found it for u to make up time. BC = 3
OpenStudy (will.h):
Now which side represents the height?
OpenStudy (brucebaner):
A?
OpenStudy (will.h):
What A! The side is a 2 points line
OpenStudy (brucebaner):
im sorry i kinda suck at math ;(

OpenStudy (will.h):
No problem. We can find the height same way as we found the base.
OpenStudy (will.h):
But the height would take extra step find the midpoint of the base 1st and then connect it to the vertex through a segment
OpenStudy (will.h):
Doing that we will get the height equal to 7.6
OpenStudy (will.h):
Now we have both base and height
OpenStudy (brucebaner):

Apply the formula to find the area
Area = 0.5 * b * h
Substitute
Area = 0.5 * 3 * 7.6
Area = 11.4
OpenStudy (will.h):
Helps?
OpenStudy (brucebaner):
kinda
OpenStudy (will.h):
The process is a little confusing.. Well alot. But u can make it easier as I summed it up above by briefing the steps.
OpenStudy (brucebaner):
