First find the slope that is dotted. Due to the fact it is dotted it will either be > or <. Due to the fact the shaded region is above it will be >. So we have... \(\large\bf{y>}\) so far. Now what is the y-intercept and slope of the dotted line?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Remember that the y-intercept is where the line meets the y-axis. And the slope is found by \(\large\bf{\frac{rise}{run}}\).

OpenStudy (chrissy):

y is less than or equal to -x+4? The second one would be y is greater than 1/3x.? (I was doing it another way while you were doing that) Idk if it's right..

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Nice :)

OpenStudy (chrissy):

Thanks!

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Your welcome :)
