It is time to practice using metaphors in your writing. Choose one of the topics below and write a 300 word story. Use at least 10 metaphors in the story to describe the topic. The night
I walk my dog, Apollo, while the cold air is nipping at my nose. I glance up, staring at the sky that's holding the winking stars with the stalker moon that likes to follow me everywhere. I listen closely and here the frogs taunting my dog with their loud noises making his hunting instincts surface. The frogs getting louder as my dog is now walking me as if he owned me. The smell from the nearby lake, walking up to my nose and loving that it makes me want to gag as the frogs now laugh begrudgingly as they need to move from their spot and hop back into their hiding spot of a lake. I suck at writing I'm sorry but I tried lol but this is an example your teacher will put this through an online checker so don't copy and paste because of that and because it sucks.
