This formula can help you with this question \[F _{fr}=\mu*F _{n}\] - Ffr is the frictional force - u is the coefficient of friction - Fn is the normal force

OpenStudy (markchernioglo):

alright so would my answer make sense?

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

The answer you chose is 10 N. However, the correct answer would be 36.0 N. Fn = 60 u = 0.6 Ffr = ? Using the formula in my previous response, Ffr = 0.6 * 60.0 Therefore, Ffr = 36.0 N

OpenStudy (markchernioglo):

Thanks! :)

OpenStudy (harman.singh):

My pleasure!
