Please help me with this problem c: I will give you a shiny medal :> Statistics, calculator function I'm using is 2 Samp F test So I put the values n and s for each population in L1 and L2, then used Input, Data, and got a P value of 0.8955848746, the program said 0.896 was wrong :< Please help me with this question :3

OpenStudy (er.mohd.amir):

your ans is correct since in answer round to three decimal digit. If last digit in decimal is more or equal to 5 its round the digit as digit before the last increment to one(1) so 0.8955 is equivalent to 0.896

OpenStudy (lacris):

Ah I see, but the program said my answer was wrong though :( I'm not sure why though..

ummm

OpenStudy (lacris):

I just got the response of: "The P-value is the probability of observing sample statistics as extreme or more extreme than the ones observed under the assumption that the statement in the null hypothesis is true. Use technology to find the P-value. Enter the given sample statistics into statistical software and perform an appropriate F-Test for the hypotheses found in the previous step."

@mathmate I hope you have time to spare :>

Ahh, never mind, my bad, I actually read the question wrong, they were giving me the n and sx so all I had to do was put in manual data into input with n1 = 11 sx = 3.1 and n2 = 11 and sx2 = 4.3 I was never supposed to put it into L1 and L2. It's actually 0.317 = p.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Good luck! :)
