Heat is applied to 1.0 kilogram of copper. The temperature of the Copper changes from -8
To 9 celcius. It takes 390 heat units to increase the temperature of 1 kilogram of copper 1 celcius. How many heat units were apples to the sample
Is this the full question? And is this for chem? Because I think you'd use the equation (mass(g))*(specific heat capacity of copper)*(change in temperature)?
Sadly this is 7th grade math.
the mass is the same so ignore for our purposes just to state equivalent to change by 1 degree needs 390 units of heat here changed from -8 to 9 degrees how any degrees changed ?
17. So would be 17*390?
many correct
Thx.
you are welcome
Have another. Chandra's heart beats 1830 times during 15 mins of running. While resting, her heart beats 18 times per 14 seconds. What is the diff between the 2?
next time open a new question need to have the same units then you can compare
how many sec make a minute?
Sorry i tried. New to this. So I did 900/1830 and 15/18
first you need to know what you have to do
60 sec per min
