My guesses:

-They made a mistake and deleted stuff but are too embarrassed to admit it.
-They just don't care and deleted it, since they use OS google history as a way to route traffic to Brainly anyways.
-Jaynator is hacking at OS again since this site has no security.

I don't know, I didn't see any huge lists of moderator deletions in the mod log. Whatever, I guess I will just be spending that much more time at other sites where my stuff isn't spontaneously deleted.

I think that they just deleted the questions so that people don't get linked to openstudy whenever they google questions and this will help them to direct people to brainly and rip os

This is honestly very ridiculous. I understand this is their site now, but does the community not matter? There are some things changing, but there seriously need to be more communication between whoever did this, and the community. At least detail the mods with some information. Communication was kind of off before, but I feel like now it's completely dead.

The only thing this is doing is creating more rumors and gossip, which isn't good for OS or Brainly. It's a shame this has happened. I'm hoping this is a mistake, but I'm also hoping there is a good reason why this happened, and I hope it disproves these rumors.

At least give us a post...something, if all we can do is hope, that gets old, rather quickly.
I'm not one to complain, but things need changing. Communication is key.

You can't re-open your own question.

What happened is that all posts in the past 6 months were deleted. And then the last post you had posted in each subject became open again even when it was previously closed.

If you look at your profile, your count for questions answered, asked, and medals received hasn't changed even though questions were deleted. Smartcents didn't go down either.

For example, @Unavailabilityy
It shows you have 22 asked questions.
However you asked all those 22 questions in the past 6 months and so it got deleted. However, your profile still tells you how many questions you asked even though you can't view them anymore.

Heres my theory: somebody done goofed, and restored an old update/reply database version...

another possibility is all posts older then 6 months are stored in a different database, and the database for posts before 6 months became corrupt...

This is also logical, as if the posts get too large, it will slow down the loading of those posts, and also load the server more... so it's logical they may have 2 databases for it.

Well... looks like they didnt actually restore everything, they restored the last backup... which would explain why this is like this...

I could be way off here... But ya know...

Because i know for a fact i closed that error in client side code post because i gave up on the hope the admins might fix a glitch i told them exactly how to fix XD
