OpenStudy (llivingston2):

In what ways did the views of W.E.B. DuBois and Booker T. Washington differ?

OpenStudy (rzlearner):

Booker T Washington This man believed that African Americans had to achieve economic independence before civil rights.  W.E.B. Du Bois This man believed that black Americans had to demand their social and civil rights or else become permanent victims of racism. So basically Washington believed that A.A's had to acquire resources, and means of production in order to move their way up in society while Du Bois believed that the only way to be incorporated into society was through demand for example civil disobedience and protests.
