Since `T` is the midpoint that would mean `ST is equal to TU`so lets set that up. \(\huge\bf{ST=TU}\) Substitute. \(\huge\bf{6x=2x+32}\) Simplify to find x.

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

i gtg x.x i will be back in probably a few hours lol

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Once you find x you would input into the two equations `(ST and TU)`. Once that is done you would add the the two products to find `SU`.

@3mar Turns out it took 7+ hours to get my id -.- @563blackghost

OpenStudy (3mar):

So she had done the good job above!

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

ok

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

x=8

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Help? Don't know what to do next x.x

OpenStudy (3mar):

After getting x, substitute with it in every length expression to evaluate it. ex: length of TU=(2x+32)=(2*8+32)=16+32=48 Do the rest!

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

SO confusing omg

OpenStudy (3mar):

why??? Where are you stuck?

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

I'm stuck on how to make the equation and get the full answer.

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

48 on both sides so ST and TU are 48

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

SU=96

OpenStudy (mathsucks321):

Am I right?

OpenStudy (3mar):

You are right! Congratulations! ♥
