Assuming there is no wastage or overlap of molding, what is the minimum length of molding Gina still requires to frame both the pictures? It took me a while to think through what this question is asking. There are two pictures to be framed. The two 36-inch pieces of molding are not enough to do the whole job. How many more pieces of molding are needed?

We may have to glue leftover pieces of molding together (end to end) so that none of the molding is wasted, there are no gaps and no overlapping of molding.
