WILL MEDAL! IS THIS D??? Which of the following best describes what causes the phases of the moon? The Earth casts a shadow on the moon. The moon gets in between the sun and the Earth. The Earth's tilt on its axis. As the moon revolves, the part of the moon that we can see on Earth changes.

The second one is a clear example of a Solar Eclipse. Honestly that has nothing to do with the moon though the tilt causes the seasons. The last one is as said the answer, due to the fact of the revolution of the Moon.

The `honestly one` is for the third one, sorry didn't make that clear.
