I need help with at least one of these questions: How can congress use a power of the legislative branch to impact a current issue? How can supreme courts and lower courts use a power of the judicial branch to impact a current issue? How can the president and his cabinet use a power of the executive branch to impact a current issue?

I know the powers of the three branches of government, I just can't think of a current issue to relate them to.

Forgot to mention, they can be different issues for each branch. I just need to explain a power of the branch and how they can be related to a current issue in the united states
