Find the are of the circle (use 3.14 for pi). Show your work. Round to the nearest tenth. @lyss @Will.H

OpenStudy (fluttershyk):

OpenStudy (jtm-pa):

\[A = \Pi r^2\]

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

wait, just kidding. it's 2pir^2 sorry

OpenStudy (lyss):

circle a = pi x r^2 a = 3.14 x 23^2 a = 3.14 x 529 a = 1661.06

OpenStudy (jtm-pa):

so A = pi 23^2 and 23^2 = 529 so the area of the circle is 529pi

OpenStudy (will.h):

A = pi * r^2 A = 3.14 * 23^2 A = 1661.1

OpenStudy (fluttershyk):

Thank you guys

OpenStudy (will.h):

rounded to the nearest tenth

OpenStudy (jtm-pa):

\[529\pi \] is the absolute answer

OpenStudy (jtm-pa):

oh im an idiot it didnt read the question :( nvm
