I have about 5 questions can anyone help? (I don't know if they're chemistry but they are science)

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Which is the best example of translation motion? A) A soccer ball passed between two players. B) An ice skater spinning in place. C) A powered up rocket on the launch pad. D) Water molecules in a glass of water.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

translational motion*

OpenStudy (frostbite):

You had your question closed in math? :P Translational motion is simply you move every point in space by the same distance. e.i. the geometry is the same, but has simply been displaced.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think its A I could be wrong...

OpenStudy (frostbite):

A is a good example I would say.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

okay :)

OpenStudy (frostbite):

But there are equally other good examples... kinda strange question.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

If you see that a hot air balloon is rising above the top of a hill, what is the top of the hill called? A) reference point B) delta point C) coordinate system D) distance system

OpenStudy (frostbite):

What do you think? :)

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think its either C or D...

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

@Frostbite

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):
