Which of the following most likely functions as the falling action in a story? Graduation day was rainy, sticky, and uncomfortable, just like the school gym on any given day. I had been waiting for this day to come for almost the entire school year. We gathered, as usual, under the spreading oak tree on top of the hill behind the school. We never knew all the trouble our adventure caused for Dad until many years later.
