I have some more questions...

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

My computer screwed up sorry

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think it might be B... But I could be wrong

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I don't remember the story very well

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Looks like you had to read something for this one... I haven't read it so I'm not sure, sorry.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Thats okay

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I'm not sure if we had to read something for this one

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think its C though

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Looks like you had to read something for this one too, yeah.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

okay

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I should know this and I probably do but for some reason whenever I do these problems I get them wrong I don't know if its being nervous or not seeing the problem correctly or me just not knowing it

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think it might be A though

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

You are correct.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Yay

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think it might be C

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Yes, C is correct. Commas either indicate a pause while speaking, are used to separate/introduce more information, or are used when listing things.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Oh that makes sense

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

B?

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

wait

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

shouldn't it be "have a fundraiser"

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Yeah, technically. They're asking for a punctuation mistake though rather than a mistake in the grammar. I would go with B.

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Maybe it was a typo or something, I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Maybe

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

They make mistakes quite a bit so

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Yeah, that would make sense lol.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

XD

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I am not sure if anything had to be read for this besides the passage

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Nope, all we need is the passage right there. For these types of questions, the main idea is usually in either the first or last sentence of the passage.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Okay :)

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

It says nothing about population so I don't think its B and it doesn't say how fast it was built so I dont think its C I could be wrong about that though

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

they were build sorry

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

I think its A

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

I can see how A would make sense, but it doesn't really specify that the other camps were modeled after Manzanar; it just states that Manzanar was typical to the other camps (or in other words, alike to the other camps). If you take a look at the first sentence though, you'll see what kinds of environments these camps were built in.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Oh! They are all deserts I knew Arizona was a desert (totally not because I was born there) but the others I didn't Ha ha wow that shows how much I pay attention

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

so is it D?

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Deserts, plains, and swamps, which are all pretty harsh environments weather-wise. I'd agree with D.

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Okay

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Hey, could you post your next question in a new thread?

OpenStudy (jas1k7879):

Yes I can

OpenStudy (irrati0nal):

Cool, thanks.
