Federalists wanted a strong central government. Anti-Federalists were opposed to that and believed that state governments should hold the power. They believed that a strong federal government would dictate people and take away their rights. I assume you are talking about the creation of the U.S. Constitution, correct? Can you think of the name of an important part of the Constitution that protects the rights of people? It would be what the Anti-Federalist wanted.
