OpenStudy (studyhoney):

Are the following figures similar? http://prnt.sc/d85w0t Yes; the corresponding angles are congruent No; the corresponding angles are not congruent Yes; the corresponding sides are proportional No; the corresponding sides are not proportional

OpenStudy (triciaal):

to have similar figures I think all the corresponding sides must have the same ratio along with the corresponding angles being the same.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@zepdrix can the figures be similar if the angles are the same but the lengths are not the same?

OpenStudy (sooobored):

similar shapes mean that their respective sides are proportional to each other you break up the shapes into smaller triangles, i assume you will determine that the side lengths are still proportional and that the angles are congruent to each other

OpenStudy (studyhoney):

that would be A?
