travels 300 miles every 28 miles requires 1 gallon of gas? how many gallons are required?
1 gallon costs $2.75 multiply the total gallons used by this number
@Directrix
Just divide the total amount of miles he'll drive by the miles per gallon to find how many gallons he'll use, then multiply that number by the cost per gallon so that you can find how much it costs for all of those gallons he'll use
300/28=10.7 10.7 x 2.75 for your answer
