In the figure shown, line AB is parallel to line CD. Part A: What is the measure of angle x? Show your work. Part B: Explain how you found the measure of angle x by identifying the angle relationships that you used along the transversal. AB and CD are parallel lines, and PQ and PR are transversals which intersect AB at P and CD at Q and R. Angle APQ is labeled as 64 degrees, angle QPR is equal to x, angle PRD is equal to 110 degrees.
I can help
omg thank you
i dont understand the question
does anyone know what to do?
Well for the first question, you have to find the angle for x. A triangle must always count up to 180 degrees, We see that one angle is 110 but that is on the outside. To make that a straight line it has to be 180. Idk if that makes sense or not but if its 110 on the outside and it needs to be 180 than the inside of the corner would be 180-110 = 70. The angle is the same on the other side as well. 70+70= 140. The triangle has to be 180 so 180-140=40 degrees. A tip would be that half of a 90 degree angle is 45 so that a tip aswell.
thank you
