HELP PLEASE.

OpenStudy (itz_sid):

When Using the Comparison Test to test for Divergence/Converge, Do we need to compare something that is bigger than the original for Divergence and compare something that is smaller than the original for Convergence.... or vice versa?

@zepdrix @518nad @Loser66

OpenStudy (loser66):

Yes, we are.

OpenStudy (itz_sid):

huh?

OpenStudy (loser66):

Like this : Suppose you need find out whether A is convergent or divergent and use comparison test. By the test, A < B, if B converges, then A converges. You need to prove A < B first. A > B , if B diverges, then A diverges. Again, you need to prove A > B first.

Thanks!

I got it :)
