I really don't know where I should post this as it is in my AP US History class but it deals with writing. First, background info. So I have to analyze 2 photos from the civil war using this: https://www.archives.gov/files/education/lessons/worksheets/photo_analysis_worksheet.pdf Then I have to write a synthesis paragraph. What is a synthesis paragraph? This is the first time I have ever seen this! Thanks in advanced!

It follows that your ability to write syntheses depends on your ability to infer relationships among sources - essays, articles, fiction, and also nonwritten sources, such as lectures, interviews, observations. At least that's what Google says
