Solve for n

OpenStudy (study.geek.123):

\[\log_{\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }}(64) =n\]

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

\(\log_a(b)=c\iff a^c=b\)

OpenStudy (study.geek.123):

i got it down to 64=1/2^n but idk how to solve from there

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

\(64=(\dfrac{1}{2})^n\iff 2^{-n}=64\iff -n=6\iff n=-6\)

OpenStudy (study.geek.123):

thx so much

OpenStudy (itrymath):

No problem @study.geek.123
